The Ark of the Covenant, also known as “the Ark”, is a sacred container that was built by Moses under God’s instruction during the Israelites’ Exodus from Egypt around 3000 years ago. The Ark is made out of wood with gold plating, it measures 3 feet nine inches long by 2 feet three inches wide by 2 feet three inches high.
